Everybody has a story to tell, no matter who they are, where they live, or how long they've been alive. Here's my story, in a nutshell:
I was born at the feet of the Popocatépetl and the Iztaccíhuatl mountains, in the city of Puebla, in México.
At the age of ten I left México with my parents and my brother and sister to go "back" to the Catalunya of my parents' youth. We lived in Vilafranca del Penedés, a small city 45 minutes away from Barcelona, which is where I went to college and where I met my husband Aaron, a native of the west coast of the United States.
I moved to the States in 1996. Aaron and I got married in 1997 and lived in San Diego until 2002. We moved "back" to the Bellevue, WA of his youth and had our first daughter. Our other little munchkin joined us in 2005.
Even though I have loved books since I first started to read, it wasn't until I began reading to my own little ones that I fell for the art and the craft of children's books.
